The Living Rainforest

Dear the Living Rainforest,

I would like to thank you for such an enjoyable day at your interesting eco-system. As we were learning about it at school, it was really exciting to be there in person.

After an unfortunately long  journey, we arrived at 10:30. Next we had a look around the rainforest and took in just how hot and humid it really was! After that we had our tour where we learnt about different species and how they had adapted to their environment. For example, the Agouti, which is a rodent, has sharp claws to open a Brazil nut to get into the soft nut inside. Also the Sloth, which is extremely shy goes very slowly to save energy.

One hour later we had our lunch. Then we had one last look around the rainforest before we got on the coach to go home.

I cannot thank you enough for such an enjoyable day.

Your sincerely Bishop’s  Waltham Junior School.
