Living rainforest

On the 28th of September, we went to the Living Rainforest which is near Newbury.  We saw lots of animals which were free such as the sloth and lots of species of birds. There was also a lizard.  Others like the armadillo and the toucan were in glass cages.  I enjoyed learning about food and useful materials on the tour.  After lunch we also played on the children’s play area which was really fun!  Although seeing all the animals was fun, I found that the rainforest was incredibly hot.  I was really interested by the pygmy marmosets,  they were really tiny.  Overall, I found the trip amazing and really interesting as well. My favourite plant was the carnivorous plant, it ate flies!  It was amazing.
