The Watercress Line

On Thursday 2nd October Year Six went to the Watercress Line in Alresford  to find out more on the Victorian railway and it was really fun!

All of us really wanted to get of the coach and when we got there everyone was full of excitement. First of all, we met our guide and she was called Mrs Love. She told us lots about who built the railway and how they did it. Then we got to look round that station. All of a sudden we all got to go on a steam train. The steam train was so fun and it didn’t take long for us to get to our next stop. We all got split up so some of us stayed with Mrs love and some of us went with Allen to see all the engines and a train which was out of order.
