The Watercress Line

On Thursday 2nd of October, year 6 went on a school trip to the Watercress Line. Everyone enjoyed the trip and we all had lots of fun.

At about 9:00, we started to board the coach. The journey seemed like forever, we were all so excited and desperate to arrive and start doing the amazing activities the adults had set up for us. Finally we were told that we had arrived at Alresford and could get off the coach. Everyone wanted to get off, so it was quite a while until we all manged to get on the ground.

After a Mrs Love telling us the rules and what we were doing, we were ready to start the interesting activities. Then Mrs Love, showed us the first activity by telling us about the station. Not long after, we could board are first train to Ropley, and I got to sit in one of the 1st class carriages! Nobody wanted the train to stop, but too soon we were told it was time to get off the train. It was lunchtime! After that,we went on another train trip but the one after that was the last one.(we didn’t go on the train much!) On the last rid,I got to make an annoncement ‘ladies and gentleman,we are approching Milsford Station!’

After a long, tiring day,we were going back on the coach, and travelling back to school. Although it went far too quickly, everyone loved the Watercress Line trip and I wanted to go again!
