The Hawk and the Flamingo

The Hawk and the Flamingo went to the woods
In a shimmering VIP train.
They took some mash and plenty of cash
Wrapped up in some candy canes
The Hawk gazed to the Moon up high                                                                                                                                                                         And sang to a blue guitar
‘Oh lovely pinky, oh pinky my love
What a beautiful pinky you are, you are, you are
What a beautiful pinky you are.’

Pinky said to the Hawk ‘You smell like pork
We should go down to the beautiful lake
Oh let us be married to long we have tarried
But what shall we do for a cake?’
They travelled away for a year and a day
To the land where the children are calm
And there in a shop a customer stood
With a cake balancing at the end of her arm,
Her arm, her arm
With a cake balancing at the end of her arm.

‘Dear customer are you willing to sell for one shilling
Your cake?’ Said the customer ‘I will’
So they took it away, and were married next day
By the T-Rex who lives in a mill.
They dined on juice and dollops of moose
Which they ate with an awesome spoon
And hand in hand at the edge of the sand
They danced by their very own tune,
Their tune, their tune
They danced by their very own tune.
